Nothing is so pleasing to the eye of an artist as blondes and brunettes. Thanks to them all of these pictures were created. I did not intend to express any deep morale or philosophy in them. My gaze was wandering on the surface - from the knees to the thighs somewhere beneath the skirts - it is a pleasant and also absolutely correct direction of motion, which is the compositional ground of my works.
